david krutilla
David W. Krutilla, 70 of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Weirton Medical Center. Born May 29, 1947, in Steubenville, OH, he was a son of the late Harry G. and Fern E. White Krutilla. He was also preceded in death by his brother Robert E. Krutilla. David was an electrical engineer with a professional engineers license. He received his bachelor’s and masters in electrical engineering as well as his MBA from WVU. His employment with various Pittsburgh firms lead him to decades of work in Spain and Nicaragua. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Julia A. Heaton Krutilla, daughter Kendra A. (John P.) Copley of Allentown, PA; son Garrett R. ( Lena J.) Krutilla of Hopewell Township, PA; brother Thomas A. Krutilla of Black Diamond, WA and grandchildren Andrew R. Krutilla, Makayla A. Copley, and Madelyn G. Copley. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.   5. Just recently found out about Dave, as I had let him numerous messages about getting together for lunch, with no response. I thought he changed his phone number? I feel very bad his passing, miss working, talking and joking with him. We worked together, making sales and service calls for Modicon for many years. He was a great person, engineer and friend.
