Obituary for Kimberly Kay Smith

Kimberly Kay Smith, 56, of Weirton passed away suddenly, at her home, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Born April 15, 1961 in Wheeling, she was a daughter of Jay and the late Virginia Kimble.

Kim currently worked as an administrative assistant at the Pittsburgh Technical College. She began her career there 15 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed her work. Her family and friends will always remember her as being a very loving, caring and kind person. Her smile could light up a room. She was the best mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband Randall “Randy” Smith of Weirton; companion Billy McColley of Weirton; daughter Angela Buck of Rayland, OH; step-sons Randall Jr., Raymond and Ricky (Becky) Smith, all of Weirton; step-daughters Diana (Brian) Lester of Waynesburg, OH and Donna Dotson of Steubenville, OH; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Frank (Connie) Kimble of Moundsville, John (Janet) Kimble of Parkersburg and Bernie Kimble of Moundsville; sisters Vikki Kimble of PA and Debbie Kimble of Moundsville.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday. Pastor Carol McKay will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
