Adah M Duckworth

Adah Duckworth, 93, of Weirton died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at the Brightwood Nursing Facility. She was born September 7, 1907 in Sunderland England, the daughter of the late Christopher and Mary Ann (Molly) Moffitt Wilmot. She was also preceded in death by her first husband John Norman Morris on May 28, 1956 and her second husband Alfred L. Duckworth on September 6, 1994. Adah retired from Miner & Mechanics Bank in 1971. Surviving is one daughter Barbara Nieman and her husband, John of Weirton; two grandchildren John Christopher Nieman and Stephanie Ann Gedzyk both of Naperville, IL. A private funeral was held on Friday with Rev. Pelton E. Vandercoy officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Memorial Contributions in Adah's memory may be made to the donor's choice.
