Adeline A. (Della) Lami

Adeline A. “Della” Lami, 79, of Weirton, passed away Monday, November 05, 2007 at her home. Born April 1, 1928 in Ellsworth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Frances Kosco Kunzel. Della was also preceded in death by her daughter Janet Smith on November 25, 2001 and sisters Mary Glinsky, Anne Dovjak, Helene Ricciardulli and Margaret Zelinsky.
Della was a homemaker who loved working on plastic canvas and crafts with the Girl Scouts. She attended St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and, for over 30 years, was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Volunteer Fire Department Company #1.
She is survived by her husband Clifford Lami; daughter Patty Ball; grandchildren Karla (Smith) Schroeder and her husband Matthew and Robbie Ball; great grandson Robbie Ball, Jr. all of Weirton and sisters Bette Goroncy of Pittsburgh, PA and Irene Mraovich of Weirton.
Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated at 8PM. Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Aunt Della will be sadly missed by all of us. She was always a ray of sunshine and always brought a smile to our faces. May God take her in his loving arms and guide her to eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. You will be especially missed by your loving Godson Jeff.
