Albert G. Murman

Albert G. Murman, 79, of Midway, PA died Saturday March 11, 2017, at Valley Haven Geriatric Center, Beech Bottom, WV.
Born on August 16, 1937, in McKeesport PA, Al was the son of the late Albert and Genevieve Zajdzinski Murman.
A US Navy Veteran, Al served on the USS COBBLER 344 from 1959-1962. He was a graduate of West Virginia University where he received his Master's Degree in Psychology.
From 1975 until his retirement in 1999. Al was a second-generation owner of Clayton Engineering Company, an electrical distributor with offices in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
In his free time Al enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending Mountaineer Football games. He will always be remembered for his love of entertaining friends, clients, and his gift of telling stories.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Welshhans Murman, whom he married on December 24, 1985; son, Mark Murman (Marsha) of Peters Township, PA; daughters, Sharon Almanza (Tony) of Burbank, CA, and Sheila Mascagni (Georgio) of Alpharetta, GA, stepson; Don Bohn (Jane) of Weirton, WV; sister, Fran Rearick (David) of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren, Jordan and Jade Murman, Jonathan and Juliana Mascagni , and Catherine Veliz; a nephew and a niece, Lisa and David Rearick.
In accordance with Al's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
He will be cremated under the care of the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, WV and his cremated remains will be placed at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Al's memory may be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter Foundation, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
Al was a good man ,always enjoyed doing business with him . Used too see him at WSX every Friday ,Rest in Peace Al say hello to Johnny O
