My mother, Irene Rybka and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Sonny. He was indeed, a very kind and thoughtful man, who lived across the hall from our son and brother, John Rybka. Sonny, so many times looked in after John, to see that he was feeling okay. Sonny was a good person, and always concerned about others. It was Sonny who helped John when he was very sick three and a half years ago, calling for an ambulance for him. A good friend indeed. How greatful we were that he showed such concern! A story was told to us, by Sonny which touched our hearts on the kindness and generosity he once showed to Bobby Vinton, from Canonsburg, PA. Bobby Vinton was starting his singing career, and sang at a local bar/nightclub, across the street from Iannetti’s Garden Center, in Paris, PA. Sonny, a young man also at the time, met Bobby Vinton, and lent him a cash amount of $30.00, which Bobby was short on money at that time. Bobby Vinton, then remembered Sonny ,rewarding him with a check in a generous amount, to show his thanks to him. Sonny will be remembered by many. Sincerely, Marlene Rybka Runkel Irene Rybka
