Albert Torbich

Albert Torbich of Colliers passed away as a Brightwood Center resident, February 1, 2021; he was 87 years old. He was born March 23, 1933, in Weirton, one of six children to Mike and Mary Derosky Torbich. Albert was a simple guy. He enjoyed flea markets and buying and selling items he encountered along the way. He retired from Jones and Laughlin Steel Company as a crane operator. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Billcheck Torbich, who passed away on October 25, 2008, brothers, William and John Torbich, sisters Dorothy Gera and Ann Bolock. Albert is survived by his niece Patty Richard and her husband Mike of Evans City, PA., his sister, Agnes Sunderson of Lake Placid, NY., and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 10-11 am at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
