Alexander Thomas Ohalek
October 8, 1985 ~ July 4, 2018
Alexander “Alex” Thomas Ohalek, 32, of Berlin, MD formerly of Weirton, WV, died July 4, 2018 at his home.
Alex was born to Richard Paul and Tina Marie Prosser Ohalek, on October 8, 1985.
Alex was presently working as a merchandiser for Driveline Retail Merchandising in Maryland. In his free time, he enjoyed computers, gaming, singing and playing the guitar. He also liked fast cars. To his friends and family he was known as the “Grammar Nazi” as he would often correct bad grammar or punctuation. But most of all, Alex will be remembered for the care he had with others, especially his family that he absolutely adored.
Alex will be remembered with love by his mother and father, Richard and Tina Ohalek of Weirton WV; his fiancé, Lisa Garrison of Berlin, MD; his aunt Nancy Prosser of Weirton, WV; uncles and aunts Ronald and Dawn Ohalek of Weirton; Blanche Babela and Tom Traubert of Wintersville, OH, his faithful dog Tycho and numerous cousins and friends.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandmother Cecelia “Sally” Ohalek who he dearly loved.

I grew up down the street from Alex and he was one of my first friends growing up. So sad to hear this news. Condolences to the Ohalek family and all of his loved ones. I’ll never forget all the times playing together as kids. Wishing you all peace.
