Alma J. Wansack, 93, of Weirton, WV died Friday, April 14, 2017, at Orchards at Foxcrest in Chester, WV. Born April 12, 1924, in Irwin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Nell Gabbie Lenhart. She was also preceded in death by her husband George J. Wansack in 1997, son Thomas Wansack in 2015 and a brother, Alvin Lenhart. Alma retired from the Weirton Medical Center Gift Shop after 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Three Score Senior Group and AARP. She is survived by her sons Timothy Wansack and Mark (Karen) Wansack, all of Weirton, and her grandchildren, Matthew, George, John and Mary Wansack, and brother Albert Lenhart. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Weirton Medical Center Auxiliary 601 Colliers Way Weirton, WV 26062.   4. Tim and family– I was really sorry to hear about Alma. She was a wonderful person. The video tribute was very nice, and I especially liked seeing pictures of Alma with Flash. I’ll miss seeing her at Kroger because that’s always where I ran into her. She was a really, really nice person and everyone will miss her.
