Alma (Marge) Nash

Alma "Marge" Nash, 88, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 18, 1921 in Bellaire, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Lappert Brandon. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ray W. Nash and brothers Charles and John Brandon and
Lionel Douglas.
Until her retirement, Mrs. Nash operated Nash's Mini Mart in Weirton. She was Methodist by faith, a member of the Starting Over Club and the Lunch Bunch. On any given evening, Marge and her many friends could be found playing bingo.
Marge is survived by her son Ray W. Nash, Jr. and his wife Vicki of Follansbee, WV; daughter Joyce Ann Nash of Tucson, AZ; grandsons Ray W. Nash III and Daniel H. Nash; brother in law Donald Nash of Massillon, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Holly Memorial Gardens, 73360 Pleasant Grove, Colerain, OH.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
I’m truly sorry Debi that you and the rest of your family have lost someone so dear to you. My heart and prayers go out to each and everyone of you. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
to ray and the family i would like too send my condolences on the loss of ur mother. i used too see her from time to time at krogers and talk to her. she will br greatly missed and i will keep ur family in my prayers.
Joyce and Ray and Family. I am so sorry for our loss. Aunt Marge was a very sweet and kind Aunt. I have really enjoyed her all these years and she will be dearly missed. I will always remember the good times. Barb, Mike, Jen and Jeff Yost.

Dear Ray and Family, Just wanted to express my sincere Condolences at the passing of your Dear Sweet Loved one. I am just an ole customer from a long time ago that enjoyed all of you in the store. back in the 70’s your Dad and mother were a joy to speak with when we would stop in to get a few things. I was so sad to read that Mrs. Nash passed away while I was out of town. It was a pleasure and an honor to care for her in the last few weeks. Ray and Joyce…you were there when she needed you most. I hope I was able to help to comfort her in her last days. Wish I could have done more.
