Alma Marie Tarquino, 95, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday August 10, 2013, at the Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling, WV. Born on November 14, 1918, in Cameron WV, Alma lost her mother, Mrs. Matthews during childbirth and her father, Mr. Matthews shortly afterwards. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Brady and her husband, Thomas Tarquino. Alma was a retired school teacher for the Hancock County Schools, where she taught Mathematics for over 30 years. She was a former member of First Christian Church in Weirton, WV and a member of West Liberty Christian Church. In the past, Alma enjoyed playing cards with her card club. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Click and her son in law Lee Ihrer of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren, Rhonda Stueber, Andrew and Thomas Brady, Michael and Elizabeth Click; twelve great grandchildren, Tanner Sydney and Zoey Stueber, Kaleb, Cory, Triston, Nathan and Sophie Brady, Julien Click, Isabella, Eliana, and Ava Check; and a niece, June Gray.   5. Sandy & Family, just came home from vacation and read were you Mom had passed. I would run into her at the store once and while, she certainly lived a could live. It had been a while since I had seen her. Where does the time go, 50 yrs since we graduated next year. I hope you and your family are well.   6. Mrs. Tarquino was my math teacher in grade school many years ago (in the 80’s.) She devoted most of her life to teaching. What a blessing. May she now rest in peace as she is reunited with her parents and daughter…
