Amedeo Guglielmo

Amedeo Guglielmo, 82, of Weirton, died Thursday, August 1, 2002, at The Inn at Wyngate. He was born January 18, 1920 in Calabria, Italy, the son of the late Serafino Guglielmo and Angela Conforti Guglielmo. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald and his brother, Felice. Amedeo is survived by his wife Alvera Reda Guglielmo, whom he married on January 6, 1942; three daughters, Elizabeth Beecroft and her husband Tom, Mary Ann Ebert and her husband Mike of Follansbee and Diana Mikula and her husband Joe of Weirton; his grandchildren Tonya and Tim Smeal, Ken and Jessica Guglielmo, Sean and Brittany Beecroft, Tara and Cory Ferguson, Kelli and Chad Cantor, Tina and Augie Gatto, Michelle and Marci Ebert; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister Giovanna Bruno of Cannonsburg, PA. Amedeo was a retired mechanic from Starvaggi Industries and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post #10, Italian Sons and Daughters of America, Sons of Italy and the Four Seasons.
