Andrew Francis Kashute

Andrew Francis Kashute, 85, of Weirton, died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born November 12, 1919 in Windber, PA, a son of the late John and Susan (Mauger) Kashute Walko. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Pete Walko; five brothers, George, Paul, Mike, Joseph, and Edward Kashute; and two sisters, Anna Rufus and Mary Tulanko. Andrew was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. He served his country in the Army during WWII. He is survived by two sisters, Susan Cihota of Weirton and Margaret Carsello of Chicago, IL.; several nieces and nephews which include, Kathy and Susanne Cihota of Weirton, WV and Michael Cihota and his wife Donna of Huntington, WV; several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Tuesday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where a Parastas Service will be held at 7:30 PM. Blessing Services will be held 9:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home followed by 10 AM funeral services at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Ed Lucas presiding.
