Andrew Lusakow

Andrew Lusakow, 90, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born September 8, 1923 in Patterson Mills, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Adira Lustapada Lusakow. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marion Louise Truax Lusakow, brother John Lusakow and sisters Mary Stack, Christine Vance and Ann Lusakow.
With 39 years of service, Mr. Lusakow retired from Koppers Chemical Company. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Avella American Legion, Weirton VFW and the Avella Sportsman's Club. He also served his country in the US Navy during World War II.
Andrew is survived by his daughter Margaret Lorraine Lewis of Havelock, NC; step-daughters Donna Glasure and Linda Martin both of Weirton; 2 grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 23 step-great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday. Interment will follow in West Point Cemetery, Avella, PA.
