I remember Mrs. Castillo very well from my days as a student at St. Joseph School. She was kind to everyone, and really exemplified the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph that staffed the school for many years: peace and justice. May heaven be her eternal reward for a life well lived.
To the Castillo and Deluca families, Fond memories bring us back to grade school and high school alike. So sorry to hear of Anita’s passing. We are sending prayers your way. Michael and Toni (Orlando) Gurskey
My deepest sympathy goes out to Lisa, Rich & Bob. I remember your mom as the secretary at St. Joseph while I was a student there. I now work at St. Joseph as the secretary & have the honor of taking care of her twin grand daughters the way she took care of all the students while she was there. May God be with all of you at this difficult time.
To the Castillo and DeLuca Families; It is with sadness yet fondness that I heard of the passing of Mrs. “C”. From my earliest childhood in baseball, through St. Joe’s and Madonna HS, I have great memories of her, her late husband, children and extended family. It was an honor to know her. Always kind and helpful to me. May God rest her soul.
Your mother was very special to me!
Bob – It’s been a long time since the University of Steubenville but I wanted to send you my condolences.
