Anita "Mary Ann" Gresko

Anita "Mary Ann" Gresko, 76, of Weirton died Saturday November 8, 2014, at the Weirton Medical Center. Born on August 28, 1938, in Follansbee, WV, Mary Ann was a daughter of the late John and Christine Lamonica Ciccolella. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lou Gresko; her sisters, Margaret Trotta, Antoinette Molchan and Marie "Gi Gi" Bennett. A talented waitress, Mary Ann was selected to wait on John F. Kennedy while he was campaigning in Weirton. Most of her life Mary Ann was a homemaker. She is survived by her two sons, Lou (Sue) Gresko and Stephen (Lori) Gresko all of Weirton, WV; brothers, John Ciccolella of Las Vegas NV, and Mike Ciccolella of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Pauline (John) Albany of Baltimore, MD and Sandy (Mike) Burd of Follansbee, WV; her two grandchildren, Michael and Stefani Gresko, her special friend and loving companion, Mark Veltri; numerous nieces and nephews. As per May Ann's request there will be no visitation. Her cremation will be under the care of the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
