Ann Louise Majoris

Ann Louise Majoris of Weirton, a loving wife mother and grandmother, passed away
Tuesday, April 21, 2020, after a lengthy illness. She was 100 years old.
Ann was born on December 28, 1919,in Windber, PA, to George and Suzanne
Kecskovsky Golish .
Mrs. Majoris was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic
Church and the St. Joseph Holy Rosary.
Ann will be remembered for her great love of God, her love and devotion to family, relatives, and friends. A woman of prayer, she spent countless hours praying for the needs of others.
She delighted in making others happy, providing guidance, sharing wisdom, and cooking her delicious meals.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband Michael
Majoris in 1997, brothers Andrew, George, and John Golish and sisters Mary Ann
Hazy and Elizabeth Rakoczy.
Ann will be remembered with love by her son, James Majoris,
daughters Carol (David) Bradley, Barbara (Ronald) Hoenig, and Michele Krnaich all
of Weirton; grandchildren Michael Hoenig, Robert (Katherine) Hoenig, Mark
(Brandy) Bradley, Jeff (Carol) Bradley, Laura (Rodney) Boniti, Melissa (David)
Karas, Michael Majoris, and Ashley Krnaich; great-grandchildren Zachary, Peter,
Jenna Ann Hoenig, Jonathan (Ashlee) Llewellyn, Corey Bradley, Rachel Boniti, Megan Boniti,
Lauren Karas, Emilee Karas, Isaac Majoris, and Martina Majoris and great-great-
grandchildren Nevaeh and Madalyn Llewellyn.
Private visitation and funeral will be held Friday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral
Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Entombment will follow at Saint Paul’s
Cemetery Mausoleum.

Jimmy, Barbara, Carol & Michelle: My deepest sympathy of the passing of your mom. Ann was a very kind and loving person and I considered her my Sister. Throughout the years we shared many happy memories and I am going to Miss them deeply. Grandma Majoris was a wonderful women! The room seemed brighter and warmer with her in it. She will be missed dearly. Her advice, insight, and kindness has made us all better people. Aunt Anna will always be remembered as a kind, caring, understanding religious person. I especially remember all the snacks she would make for me and her son Jimmy after a game of baseball or basketball. I never heard her raise her voice in anger nor say anything negative about anyone.
