Ann Marie Cox

Ann Marie Cox, 81, of Weirton, died Tuesday, September 07, 2004 in the Palliative Care Unit of Valley Hospice. Born May 30, 1923 in Midland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Mary Pape Schell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Darold E. (Bill) Cox on June 29, 2003. Ann Marie was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beta Sigma Phi of Weirton and AARP. Ann Marie’s survivors include her daughter Linda Ann Pietranton and her husband Robert G. of Las Vegas, NV; Brothers Dominic Schell of Weirton and Richard Schell of Toledo, OH; Sister Elizabeth Sullivan of Zanesville, OH; Grandchildren Robert G. Pietranton, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and Ryan S. Pietranton of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Father Tony Thurston presiding. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Weirton.
