Ann Marie Tassey

Ann Marie Tassey, 81 of Weirton, WV died Tuesday, January 1, 2002 at her home. She was born on October 17, 1920, in Winehaven California, the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Krausser Kiefer. Her two brothers, Mike and Frank Kiefer and her sister Eva Girsch also preceded Marie in death. She was a member of the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, AARP, Three Score Senior Citizens Club and the Homemakers Club. Her husband, Dominic Tassey, whom she married on June 24, 1943, survives. She is also survived by her son Daniel and his wife Linda Tassey of Weirton; her three daughters, Tina Crossley and her husband Bill and Linda McDonald and her husband Tom all of Weirton, WV and Debbie Moses of Fairbanks Alaska; her sister, Evelyn Butorac of Pacheco, CA; her eight grandchildren and her three great grandchildren. . Visitation will be Wednesday 1-4 & 6-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Entombment will be in the Saint Paul Mausoleum.
