Anna Jean Korpos

Anna "Jean" Korpos, 88, of Weirton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2015.
Born on November 15, 1926, in Eldersville, PA, Jean was a daughter of the late James and Mary Burris McFarland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Korpos on October 7, 1990; and her sister, Martha Rae Sutermaster.
Jean, as she was known to her family and friends, was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her home, especially her flowers.
She was a member of the Restoration Church; American Legion Auxiliary in Avella PA, Jefferson Township Historical Society in Eldersville, PA and the SOAR in Pittsburgh, PA.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jean is survived by her son, Frank Korpos (Barb); her daughter, Debbie Mozingo; and her sister, Dorothy Muzopappa all of Weirton, WV; a grandson, Shawn (Jaime) Price and great-grandchildren, Owen and Samantha Price.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday. Pastor Gary Lilly will preside. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Eldersville, PA.
