Anna K. Ferrari, 91 of Weirton died Thursday,October 19th 2000 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1909 in Pittsburg Oklahoma, the daughter of the late John Echelle and Domenica Echelle. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Norman D. Ferrari Sr. in 1969;a son Richard J. on May 20, 1997,a brother John Echelle; two sisters Mary Buffo and Emma Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Church and a member of the Christian Mothers. Mrs. Ferrari spent many hours volunteering her time, helping residents of the Weirton Geriatric Center. She is survived by her son Norman D. Ferrari,Jr. and his wife Helen and a daughter in law Jane Ferrari. Five grandchildren; Dr. Norman D. Ferrari, Mrs. Mariann J. Weimerskirch, Mrs. Lisa Burskey, Mrs. Terri Stuart and Mr. Richard Ferrari. She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren; Elizabeth & Nicholas, T.J & Danielle, Anna Marie & Becky, Tess & Jake. The visitation hours are 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday at Saint Joseph the Worker Church. Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ferrari Family School Fund. This fund goes to support the Weirton Madonna Art Room and the Saint Joseph Grade School Library.
