Anna Mary Troia

Anna Mary Troia, 101, of Rockville, MD passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD. Born August 3, 1913 in Washington, DC she was a daughter of the late Cesare and Rosina Presutti DeLeonardis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Louis Troia and a brother Tony DeLeonardis.
Mrs. Troia retired from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center where she was a medical records technician for many years. She proudly served her country during WWII as a Wave in the US Navy and was Catholic by faith.
Anna is survived by her sister Yolanda Geary (Russell) of Rockville, MD; three nephews Charles Yanjanin (Donna) of North Potomac, MD, James (Elaine) and Larry DeLeonardis (Gayle) both of FL; three nieces Terri Ann Ferrara (Bob) and Cheryl DeLeonardis both of FL and Kathy Pecca of Atlanta, GA and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:30am-9:30am followed by the 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 229 California Ave. Weirton. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery where Military Services will be conducted by the US Navy.
Aunt Anna you will be greatly missed. I thank you for your love and commitment to our family all these years. You have a wonderful legacy you leave for us to carry on. Love and Miss You. Terri and Bob
