Anne C. Tredway

Anne C. Tredway, 82, of Follansbee, WV, formerly of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Golden Oaks Residential Board & Care in Follansbee. Born March 12, 1926 in Follansbee, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Anna Arsu Codrea. Anne was also preceded in death by her husband Oliver M. Tredway, brothers George and Nick Codrea and sisters Josephine Tordolino and Ruth Deavers.
With 12 years of service, Anne retired from the Weirton Daily Times, where she worked as a page setter. She was Methodist by faith, a member of AARP and the Four Seasons Senior Citizens. She volunteered at Weirton Medical Center for many years and loved to travel, having taken many cruise trips.
Anne is survived by her daughter Teri Nodianos and her husband John of Weirton; grandchildren Kevin Nodianos and his best friend Bridget Giles of Reston, VA and Kristopher and Jen Nodianos of Waldorf, MD.
Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where Italo Divenanzo will conduct a 7:30 Vigil Service and Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday with Pastor Joe Cuomo presiding. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, WV Region, 1110 Prestwick Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26508.

Teri & Family, I was saddened to learn of Anne’s passing. I am sorry that I could not be there for the visitation. After your mother moved from West Street. I never got to see her again. It always seemed so strange when I came back to Weirton not to see her. Your parents were such great neighbors. Sharing in your sorrow and offering my deepest sympathy. Teri & family, I met you Mom when she became a resident of Golden Oaks. She was a wonderful woman and very kind to my Mom (Tinkerbell), Kathleen Mott. It was my pleasure to know her and spend a few minutes on each of my visits talking to her. My sympathy to you and your family Joyce Thompson
