Arther P Hebb, Sr.

Arther P. Hebb, Sr. 81, of Weirton, died May 10, 2001 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on May 2, 1920 in Grafton, WV the son of the late Roy C. and Anna Nestor Hebb. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Brennis, Willis (Buck), and Harley Hebb, and a granddaughter in law Violet Hebb. Arther was retired from Weirton Steel with 26 years service as a motor inspector in the Blast Furnace Dept. He was a member of the Masonic Order Lodge 171, VFW #2716, Elks # 1801, Moose # 688, Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, and Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. Arther was WWII Army Veteran serving with the Armored Division. He is survived by his wife Lottie R. Breedlove Hebb, a son: Arther P. Hebb, Jr. and his wife Becky, of Wilson, NC, a daughter: Mrs. Michael (Diane) Clayton, of Weirton, a brother: Warren of Canton, OH, 4 grandchildren Mrs. Peter Jennifer Strope, Michael Clayton Jr., Eric and Todd Hebb, and 1 great granddaughter Taylor Hebb. Visitations will be Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton. Funeral services will be Monday 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV. at 1:30PM with Military Graveside Services.
