barbara campbell

Barbara Jo “Bobalick” Campbell born August 25, 1944 passed away on August 19, 2026.

Barbara was a kind and caring woman who had a natural way of making people feel welcome and at ease. She treated others with warmth, respect, and genuine compassion.

As a child, Barbara was a talented ballerina and came very close to pursuing it professionally. She ultimately chose a different path, stepping away from that dream to focus on raising her children, who became the center of her life and one of her greatest joys.

Barbara was the proud and devoted mother of Paula Newburn and her husband, Brian Newburn; Jeffrey Campbell; and Michael Campbell. She was also a loving grandmother to Kiley Campbell, Gabe Newburn, Liam Campbell, Conor Campbell, Anthony Campbell, and Joey Campbell.

She was known for the strong bonds she formed with her children’s friends, many of whom affectionately called her “Mom.” Barbara had a gift for making people feel included and cared for, and she never met a stranger.

Barbara worked at Sears for many years, where her friendly nature and steady kindness left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bobalick and Josephine Bobalick, and her sister, Rachel Bobalick.

Barbara leaves behind a devoted family and many friends who will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and steady presence in their lives. In addition to being a mother and grandmother, Barbara was a source of comfort and support to many. She will be remembered for the love she showed through her actions, her care for others, and the sense of home she created for those around her.

In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Her family asks that she be remembered through the meaningful moments and memories she shared with those who knew her.
