Betty Harrison

Betty J. Harrison, 76, of Weirton died Wednesday June 15, 2011, at the Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville, OH. Born on August 29, 1934, in New Martinsville, WV, Betty was born to Grover and Georgie Powell Bland, Sr. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her infant daughter, and a brother, Grover Bland, Jr. Betty lived the last part of her life at the Weirton Geriatric Center, where she was loved by her caregivers. She enjoyed making crafts, socializing, and participating in the activities of this wonderful nursing facility. She will always be remembered as being pleasant and friendly. Betty is survived by a son, Buddy Pardine of Friendly, WV; two daughters, Wilda Marstiller of Morgantown, WV, and Connie Callis of Keyser, WV; a brother Francis Bland of Reader, WV; and the loving caregivers at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Graveside services are pending and will be finalized in the near future. The Rev. Larry Barkley will preside. Interment will be in Three Springs Cemetery. Share tributes at grecohertnick.com
