Betty K. Misscare

Betty K. Misscare, 64, of Weirton, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1938, in Buckhannon, WV, the daughter of the late Floyd E. Slaughter and Agnes R. Ervin Royers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Misscare on July 17, 1985; one daughter, Lisa McFall; and brother, John M. Slaughter. Betty was a retired telemarketer. She was a member of the VFW 2716 Ladies Auxiliary and the Northside Church of God, where she served as past president of the Ladies Ministry. Betty is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline McFall of Charleston, WV and Cindy McFall (Jim) Fluharty of Weirton; one granddaughter, Tory Nicole Fluharty of Weirton; one sister, Margaret Slaughter of Buckhannon, WV; nephew, John M. Slaughter II, of Buckhannon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday.
