My sister Mary Alice & I went to Weirton especially to meet with Dixie & Betty since we are first cousins, we never grew up around each other & it was so great to find them & be able to meet them both. Our mother’s were sisters. Betty & I are nearly the same age, I am 77, & I see that she was 78. God Bless all the family. love, Cousin, Pauline

  7. I was surprised to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a wonderful friend though many years. She was my very first secretary at Weirton General. We shared many happy times together. I will never forget her. She was a good and kind person. I am sure that God will give her an everlasting dwelling place in Heaven.

  8. We were so sad to learn of Betty’s passing..she fought the battle….and won her place in heaven..can’t you just see her up there celebrating with the rest of the family and of course Uncle Arnold! I remember every time we had a reunion, or went to her home she always got out her famous meatballs and “made” us eat! So sorry to the rest of the family that we couldn’t make it up to the f/home, but with my new job I can’t take off as easily as before, and Mom just don’t tolerate the heat well at all….Mom will miss Aunt Betty…she was so good to keep in touch with Mom after Dad passed away….Aunt Faye and Aunt Dixie,(and families) know that we love all of you and will be thinking of you tomorrow….stay in touch. Love Sylvia (sister-in-law) Carol Sue
