Billy Wayne Jarrell

Billy Wayne Jarrell, 56, of Wellsburg, died Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. Born November 4, 1947 in Jonesboro, Louisiana, he is the son of Edwina (Hayden) Jarrell of Eros, Louisiana and the late Morand “Pat” Jarrell.
After 18 years of service, Billy retired from the City of Follansbee Street Department. He was a member of the Christian Life Apostolic Church in Beech Bottom, WV. Billy loved to crochet.
In addition to his mother, Billy’s survivors include his wife Sharon Lee Williams Jarrell whom he married June 7, 1969; son Thomas Wayne Jarrell of Beech Bottom; daughters Sharilyn Lee Colvin and her husband Scotty of Weirton, Rachel Joy McCune and her husband Chris of Beech Bottom and Sarah Leann and Alana Mae Jarrell both at home; brothers Bobby Jarrell and his wife Judy of West Monroe, Louisiana, Marlon Jarrell and his wife Debbie, Charles Jarrell and his wife Hope and Marlon “Pete” Jarrell, Jr. all of Eros, Louisiana; sisters Patricia Harper and her husband Don of Grayson, Louisiana and Angie Hempley and her husband Richard of West Monroe, Louisiana; and grandchildren Mariah and Andrew Colvin and Brittany and Hanna McCune.
Friends will be received Monday 4-9PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the 11AM funeral services at the Christian Life Apostolic Church in Beech Bottom, WV. Reverend Paul Armstrong will preside. Interment will be at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee.

Sharon and family, I’m really sorry to hear about Billy. He was a very true friend. One that I will miss badly. All of you are like family to me. But he is in heaven now. And we still have to keep going. I know him and Harry are having a good time. And we will be with them some day. If you need me for anything please let me know. I will be here for you all.
