Brenda Joyce Stonebraker

Brenda Joyce Stonebraker, 61, of Steubenville, passed away on April 5, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was born December 3, 1953 in Follansbee, WV, the daughter of Loretta Ruope Cox and the late Paul Cox. She was also preceded in death by her brother Troy Paul Cox. Brenda graduated from Brooke High School in 1971. She worked as a nurse's aide at Ohio Valley Hospital and Weirton General Hospital; she then went on to work as a clerk at her family's business, Good Fella's Caf in Weirton. She loved the outdoors and spending time in nature. Brenda is survived by her loving husband William G. Stonebraker, of Steubenville, whom she married on July 4, 1981 and mother Loretta Ruope Cox of Follansbee, WV. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday. The Reverend Randy D.Sells will officiate. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
