So very sorry to learn of his passing. He was ever the gentleman. So pleasant to converse with, willing to be helpful with assistance or ideas. He will certainly be missed. Sending love and prayers.
Jim Varner, Fairmont Senior and Fairmont State. TBI brother.
It seems unbelievable that six decades have gone by since Don and I sat in the Fairmont Senior High School dugout during baseball season. (He played, I kept the scorebook). Then just a couple of years later, we ended up in the same fraternity. Always friendly, Don was a symbol to all of us on how to live a good life and be a good man. May his family take solace in that. Goodby my old friend and dugout mate. Jim Varner FSHS’64, FSC ‘68

It was in 2010 that I met Don at West Virginia Northern Community College. On that day I discovered that we had many similarities: we were both from Fairmont WV, we were both married on the same day (April 17, 1971), we went to Fairmont State College, and were both members of the Tau Beta Iota Fraternity. I attended Fairmont Catholic High School as did Teresa Ruggerio. Don and I worked together at WVNCC for a few years. I have seen Don a few times in the recent past and it was great to see him.
Rest in the God’s peace brother, Larry De Rosa
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather.
