On Friday, September 26, 2008, after a courageous battle with melanoma, Brian P. O'Neill, 36, of Weirton, passed away. He was born May 29, 1972 in Weirton to Susan O'Neill and the late William "Pat" O'Neill. Brian was currently employed at The Greater Pittsburgh Collision Works in Coraopolis, PA. He was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Wellsburg, WV, the Western Allegheny Porsche Club and also enjoyed racing remote control cars. In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his wife Amy O'Neill of Weirton; sons Tyler Brian and Matthew Joseph at home and sister Michelle O'Neill of Weirton. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 10AM Monday. Pastor Richard Ryan will officiate. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to Gateway for Cancer Research, 1336 Basswood Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.   3. From the time I first started at Greater Pittsburgh, I had a good connection with Brian. He was very conscientious in his work ethic and his sense of humor was right in line with mine. He could not only work with his hands, but with his mind too. I’m proud to have worked with him. I will always miss his “AAARRRT” greeting when we’d pass by at the shop. The Porsche owners in Heaven are lucky to have him.

Brian was always such a kind person and always said ‘Hello’ when you pass him on the street. I am very sorry that he is no longer here, but he will always be in everyone’s hearts.   28. The O’Neil family: I knew Brian through the Porsche Club and his work at Greater Pitt Collision. He was a terrific guy. I always enjoyed talking with him at track events and at the shop. I am truly sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
