Cameron Torrance Cline of Weirton passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, one day before his 81st birthday.
Cameron was born on December 5, 1941, in Steubenville, OH, the eldest of two children born to Ray and Goldie Torrance Cline.
Cameron grew up in Weirton, WV and graduated from Weir High School in 1959. After graduation he furthered his education at West Liberty State College.
On December 28, 1963, he married Patricia Collins. In their 59 years of marriage, they were blessed with two sons and a daughter and four grandchildren. Cameron supported his family by working as a payroll clerk at Weirton Steel for 35 years.
A loving, ornery, and caring husband and father, Cameron was very involved in family life. When his son was in the band, he was a band parent. When his daughter was in 4H, Cameron was involved in 4H. In his free time, he enjoyed camping with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Cameron was a pillar at the First United Methodist Church, where he served on the administrative council as the treasurer, trustee, and financial and membership secretary.
In addition to his parents, Cameron was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Paul Cline; and his grandson, Collin Smith.
He will be remembered with love and admiration by his wife, Patricia Collins Cline; his son, Scott Cameron (Deana) Cline; his daughter, Denise Diane (Dale) Smith; his sister, Pamela (Paul) Baczewski; and his three grandchildren, Audrey Smith, Nathan and Jailyn Cline.
Cameron’s wish was to be cremated. His family held a private service with Pastor Carol McCay on Monday morning at the funeral home.

Cam and Patty have been the Best neighbors anyone could ask for. Cameron always had a smile and a wave and could easily make you laugh! We will miss him in this neighborhood even though he moved to another one in his heavenly home.. Thank you Cameron for your friendship!
