Carol Baker Nale, 77, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Brightwood Center.

Carol was born on December 18, 1947, in Steubenville, and was a daughter of Catherine Hymes Baker and Thomas Baker. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Nale, on March 6, 2012, and brother Richard Baker.

Carol graduated from Weir High School and WVNCC. She worked at the Weirton Shop-N-Save until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed shopping and yardwork and often say, “Just give me a headset and a water bottle and I’m ready to mow!”

She is survived by her sons Chuck Tenaglio (Suzanne) of Weirton and Chris ( Kelly Ernst) of Plymouth, MI., sister Priscilla Barker (Larry) and grandchildren Matthew Tenaglio (Claire Wendt) of Indianapolis, IN., Luke Tenaglio (Laura Cifala) of Morgantown, WV, Olivia and Kristen Tenaglio of Plymouth, MI., she is also survived by nieces, cousins, and friends, including her special neighbors Stacey and Kevin Wagner.

Her family would like to thank the staffs at Brightwood Center and Weirton Dialysis center for the kindness and support.

Carol’s request for cremation will be honored.

She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, where you can visit with Carol’s family from Noon until the time of her 1 pm Memorial Service.

Carol will be inurned with her husband Kenneth at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to an Animal Shelter of your choice.

Carol so loved her faithful companion, Zipper.
