Cecelia (Sally) Ohalek

Cecelia (Sally) Ohalek, 80 of Weirton, died Monday November 26, 2001 at her residence. She was born on November 2, 1921 in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Joseph and Honorata Sweda Sudol. Her husband Stanley Ohalek also preceded her in death in January of 1975. Her stepson John Ohalek, her brother John Sudol and her sisters, Laura Wajda, Josephine Maslowski Otey and Helen Kasprzak, also preceded her in death. Sally was a homemaker. She also worked in the Housekeeping Department of the Weirton Geriatric Center for 10 years. She enjoyed volunteering her time and talents to the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the AARP She is survived by her two sons, Ronald and his wife Dawn Ohalek and Richard and his wife Tina Ohalek all of Weirton; her step son Stanley Ohalek of Toronto, OH; Her daughter, Blanche Babela of Wintersville, OH and her sister, Veronica (Virney) Hutton of Weirton. Her five grandchildren, Patricia Allen, David Babela, Jr., Ronda Jo Hutchins, James and Alexander Ohalek and a great grandson Scott Thomas Hutchins and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, also survive. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday.
