Charles Volosin, Jr.

Charles Volosin, Jr., 86, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Weirton, WV, died Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at the Grant Hospital.
He was born on September 25, 1916, in Perth Amboy, NJ, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Fedor) Volosin. Charlie was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Granger, and his brother, Andrew Volosin.
He retired as a carpenter, where he specialized in home remodeling. Charlie enjoyed his family. He loved to golf, especially with his brothers. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden, and was very active in his church.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Sabol Volosin; his son Charles Volosin III, and his wife Helen; his two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Barbara) Elsass, and Mrs. Stuart (Michelle) Kendall; his five brothers, Pete, John, George, Joe and Mike Volosin; his two sisters, Mrs. Andy (Mary) Evans, and Helen Orenzuk; his six grandchildren,Stephen Elsass, and his wife Marshelle, Elizabeth Elsass, Charles E. Volosin, Bryan, Megan, and Tyler Kendall; his two great grandchildren, Ryanne and Mackena Elsass.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the Woodyard East Chapel 2300 E. Livingston Ave, Bexley, OH (614 221 7746)
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, at the Saint Stevan Eastern Orthodox Church, 1060 N. Cassidy Avenue Columbus, OH.
Reverend Mata Matejic, and Reverend Daniel Rentel will preside.
Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Uncle Charlie was one of the kindest men that we have ever known. We have such pleasant memories of him. He was a man that never did an unkind word pass his lips.
