Charles William Glasure, Jr.

Charles William Glasure, Jr., of New Cumberland, passed away suddenly at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, OH., on Tuesday, September 14, 2021; he was 69 years old. He was one of eight born to the late Charles W. and Marie E. Exarhos Glasure, Sr., in Steubenville, on February 10, 1952. Charles had a heart of gold. He would offer his assistance to anyone who needed help, doing God’s work on earth. He was always fixing something at home or for someone else, a jack of all trades, never backing down from a challenge. His passion was antique furniture, restoring many items over the years and bringing them back to life. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother Craig Glasure and sister Ina McDiffitt. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers Richard Glasure of Steubenville, James “Ray” (Mary), Arvid Glasure, both of Weirton, sisters, Rose (Marvin) Gauthier of Louisiana, Jennie (Scott) Miller of Weirton, Evelyn (Richard) Miller of Texas, many nieces and nephews and his two cats.
