Christine E. Ciarrocchi, 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Weirton, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 . Born October 3, 1910 in Monesson, PA, she is the daughter of the late Nazereth and Frances (Dubato) Vagnoni. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Geno Ciarrocchi on April 15, 1961, daughter, Beatrice Zagula; brothers Nick, Joe, William and Robert Vagnoni; and sister Evelyn Spencer. Christine was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Saint Joseph Christian Mothers in Weirton and bowled in the Weirton Bowling Leagues. She was the first President of the St. Paul Christian Mothers. Christine’s survivors include her daughter Frances Huey, and her son in law David of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Debra, David Zagula and Mrs. Ron (Pam) Smoljanovich all of Weirton. Friends will be received Sunday from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00 – 9:00PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10:00AM Monday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church with Father Stephen Dube presiding. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
