christopher neeley
Christopher D. Neeley, 23, of New Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born April 10, 1982 in Weirton, he was the son of Paul and Pat (Norman) Neeley. Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Virginia Norman and paternal grandmother Mary Jane Neeley. Christopher was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, attended St. Paul Grade School and was a 2000 graduate of Madonna High School. After working at Weirton Steel for 1½ years, he enrolled at Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh. He graduated in October 2005 with a degree in welding and blueprint fabrication. He was currently working at Olsen Industries in Pittsburgh. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Ryan Neeley and his wife Amy of Mingo Junction, OH; sister Jennifer Jones and her husband Rick of New Cumberland; paternal grandfather Clyde Neeley of Burgettstown, PA; nephew Patrick Rouse; nieces Baylee Jones, Emily Jones and Ella Neeley and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christopher loved his family and was a very dedicated uncle and godfather. Christopher’s greatest accomplishment in his life was the love and respect he carried in his heart for everyone he met. He left this world in spirit but his life will go on through his heroic gift of life to others by the donation of his organs to others in need. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate. I was extremely upset when I heard of his passing away like this.
