Rita, We were very shocked when we read of your husbands passing. He was a very nice and pleasant man. Cherish the memories and good times that you had together. Sorry that we can not be there for you. May you rely on your faith during your time of grief.
Dear Ann, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Words seem to be inadequate in moments like this. Chris was always a friend to me and he was always loved by the Humes family. May the peace of God be with you. Peace and love, Mel Humes
Rita: I was deeply sadend to learn of Chris’ passing. We didn’t see each other often, but, I felt very close to him. May the good times and memories that you shared give you the strength to get through this very difficult time. We have one thing in this life that we can rely on, our family. I know that your family is strong and that they will always be there for you. With Deepest Sympathy, Love, Steve & Lynn Xintas
Rita, Ryan, Jason, Alaina & Mrs. C, My heart just aches for your loss. I wish I could be there for you now. Chris loved and was so proud of all of you. I love you.
Rita, Jason, Ryan, Alaina & Mrs. Christ: Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Chris was one-of-a-kind. I will never forget the great times we shared during the Holidays or watching the Steelers or on the golf course. I bought a new car from him on Tuesday. He met me in Youngstown and we had some iced tea while we completed the paperwork. Before leaving, he tossed some coins in my car and said something in Greek, explaining it was a Greek tradition to wish good luck with one’s new vehicle. On the way home, I called him to thank him for all his help. The last thing he said to me was, “That’s what friends are for”. And a great friend he was. I will keep those coins forever.
Rita, Ryan, Jason, Alaina & Aunt Anna, Words cannot express how sorry I am not only for your loss but for the loss we all are feeling. Christy was always so full of life and fun. Always with a smile on his face and words of kindness to everyone who knew and loved him. Whenever he visited us here in Baltimore my girls would get so excited to see their Theo Christy. Kelli always knew that it was a sure date for pizza. He has touched so many lives and brought joy to all of them. He will always be in our thoughts and you all will be in our constant prayers. Love, Harriet

I worked with Chris for 4 years at McKitrick Harms Olds. In that short time I grew to respect and like Chris. I knew him as a rare individual with real class. I saw him last at a softball game in Mingo and as always he was offering to help as I was unemployed at the time. I too, shed a tear upon learning of his sudden death. His shoes will be hard to fill. He was a very special man. I will miss him.
Dearest Aunt Anna, Rita, Ryan, Alaina and Jason, Our HEARTFELT sympathy from ALL your family in Baltimore…We were shocked and overwhelmingly saddened to hear the awful news. Christy was a person who lived life to its fullest and who always had a smile on his face and laughter to share. My uncles Taso and Nicky called him “Charlie Antithero” from his funny antics here in Baltimore. Let’s all remember the fun times and good memories with him and somehow take comfort in the fact that he is an angel in his father’s and brother’s arms right now watching over all of us whose lives were touched by him…especially his grieving children, wife and mother. Baltimore will miss Christy, too!!!!!!! He’ll always be in our hearts!!! May his memory be eternal!!!!! All our love always, Your cousins, Maritsa & John Stamas and daughters
Rita, So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. My smypathies to you and your family.

Dear Christ family, Words just can’t say how sorry we are. We bought all of our cars from Chris for the past 12 yrs.The first time I went in there I seen what a great family man he was, with all his pictures on his desk and wall, and over the years we got to see how the kids grew. He was so proud to tell me all about you Rita and the kids.I also came out knowing how to play black jack and learned a few card tricks. he was great with the chips. Over the years it was so much fun buying a car from Chris, he was the most upbeat man.I just went in in april to tell Chris that my son branko was going to play football at BIG RED, that he would be 16 soon and needed a new car. Chris spent the whole day with Branko picking out the right car and told him it had to look good if he was going to play football at BIG RED and it does, he walked out with a 2007. Chris was the best at what ever he did. He told Branko he would be there for all his games. Chris was very proud of coach Reno and all the other coach that he said made a great team. I will pray every day for you and your family, that things will get stronger for you. Thoughts and prayers from, Nick, Lorie and Branko Busick
Our sincere condolences to your family at this time. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since the death of my father in-law Denny Sargeant and it was through him that I met Chris at the toyota dealership. It was your family that came to support my wife with the loss of her father and I wish I could be there to support yours. It was in the reciving line that I met Christopher’s mom and I will never forget the kind words that she expressed to us that day. The day before the viewing for Denny I visited the toyota dealership with my three kids hoping to see Christopher and to say Hello. My father in-law was a repeat customer for him at the dealership, but Christopher was away at a toyota seminar. Christopher may not be with us in the physical realm of things but we will always have good memorys of him and his pleasant smile. I know without a doubt in my mind that Christopher and Denny are in the company of each other and in peace. They were friends in this life and the thereafter. May God really bless you all real good and may he send you the Angels of Peace. 2nd Corinthians 5:17 Sincerely, David and Amber Umphlett and the kids.

I used to work in the print department of OfficeMax. Chris always made my day when he would come in to get pictures printed. He was always in a great mood with a smile on his face. Although I have not worked there for nearly 2 years, when I think back of the good times I had there and what I miss, seeing Chris, usualy accompanied by his daughter, and always beaming with pride over his children, always come to mind.
