Concetta "Tina" Rocchio, 78, of Weirton, WV passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at her home. Born July 27, 1937 in Bomba, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Bambina Angelucci Crognale. Tina is also preceded in death by her brother Dominic Crognale. Tina was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, especially for the huge family gatherings at her home. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews, who enjoyed spending their vacations with her. She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Paesano Card Club and the Four Seasons. Tina is survived by her husband Pasquale Rocchio; son Nick (Brenna) Rocchio of Bellaire, OH; her six daughters, Madeline Rocchio, Tina Rocchio and Teresa Sadler (Greg), all of Weirton, Domenica (Joseph) Stalvey of Brownsville, PA, Toni (Mark) Colbert of Beaver, PA, and Francine (Scott) Moll of Amity, PA; grandchildren Kayla, Nicholas, Anthony, Dallas, Joseph, Seth and Joshua; a great grandson, Kaisen; brothers in law, Pete (Paula) Rocchio of Weirton, and Pasqua Assalone of New York City; her sister in law Filomena Crognale of Chalfont, PA, and Maria Rocchio of Italy. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-7 PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Reverend Father Dennis Schuelkens will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. A vigil service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
