Cynthia L. Magnone, 58, of Weirton, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, surrounded by her family at her home. Born November 25, 1959 in Steubenville, OH, Cindy was the daughter of the late Edmund Javorsky and Thyra Weatherhead. For 37 years, Cindy worked as a dietetic assistant at the Weirton Medical Center. She enjoyed cooking, antiquing and visiting Sugarcreek. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Joseph M. Magnone of Weirton and brother Edmund Javorsky of Wellsburg. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Dennis Schuelkens Jr., will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High St. Morgantown, WV 26501.   6. I was so saddened to hear of Cindy’s passing. Although we had drifted apart I always considered Cindy one of my very best friends growing up. We visited each other’s homes often, went to school together and went to Follansbee pool together. I remember Albie and how we all use to laugh so hard.
