Daniel Holbrook, 57, of Coshocton, OH, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at his home. He was born November 14, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Theresa Burns Holbrook of Dallas, GA and the late Everette Holbrook. He was also preceded in death by his wife Janet Rossi Holbrook and sister Lisa Holbrook. Dan worked as a line operator for Follansbee Steel and USG Corporation. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He loved to go camping and fishing with family. Dan served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his sons Jeffrey (Jessica) Holbrook of Canonsburg, PA and Sean (Amanda) Holbrook of Massillon, OH; daughter Shannon Holbrook of Martins Ferry, OH; sisters Linda (Anthony) Kostecki of Powder Springs, GA and Diane Holbrook of Dallas, GA; and grandchildren Grace Holbrook, Aubree Holbrook, Sammy Kostecki, Cali Cognion and Xander Cognion. Friends and family will be received Friday from 10 until the 11 am memorial service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. The Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate.   6. I am a bit late in seeing this and apologize for that. Although I did not remain a close friend of Dan’s after I left Weirton, I remember him vividly. Dan always had a kind word, a wonderful inquisitive nature and really was one the nicest people I knew. My deepest sympathies to his family.
