Daniel L. McPeek, 42, of Raccoon Township, PA, formerly of Colliers, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born December 20, 1964 in Colliers, he was the son of Thomas and Lois Barnhart McPeek of Colliers, WV. For the last 10 years, Daniel worked as a weekend coordinator for Achieva. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Weirton. In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his wife Marleana Jones McPeek, twin daughters Dallas and Dani and step-daughter Kaylee Rodriguez of the home; brothers Tom and Phil McPeek; sisters Crisi Martin, Lisa Saunders, Anita McPeek and Virginia Welshhans; father-in-law Lester Brown, Jr.; mother-in-law Virginia Diaz; brother-in-laws Joseph and Leroy Brown and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8PM and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Tuesday, December 26, 2006 with Minister Aaron Arthaud officiating. Graveside services will be in Tuesday afternoon at 3:00PM at Fairview Cemetery, Middlebourne, West Virginia. Please consider a contribution in memory of Daniel to the American Cancer Society

He was a great guy, and will be missed by all that knew him.

Over the course of time that I spent with you I never really seemed to appriciate that, but now that your gone I now see that you are a GREAT father.   18. Marleanna and all the family The short time I had to know Dan leaves me with good memories. The way he loved you and took care of his girls was so precious. He was so proud of his girls. I remember how he established the system for scheduling the twins feedings and naps. I was so impressed with him then and he was so happy to be able to tell how well it was working.
