Darlene Treva Laughlin

Darlene Treva Laughlin, 77, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born October 27, 1936 in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late David McCoy and Elsie Lerline (Boggess) Call.
Mrs. Laughlin was a homemaker and a member of the Kings Creek Union Chapel. Darlene was an avid supporter of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed reading a good book and making crafts for her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by her husband Robert Clyde Laughlin; son David Kenneth (Mayda) Laughlin all of Weirton; daughter Jo-Lene (Michael) Saffel of Gettysburg, PA; beloved granddaughter Alexandra and sister Jeanne Garrison of Princeton, WV.
Visitation will be held Friday 5-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted 11AM Saturday. Pastor Darrell Maze will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.
Dear Laughlin family, I send my sympathies and prayers, I’ve been away a while but you all have not been forgotten. You all meant so much to me and my ministry at KCUC. Still love you all. Pastor William Hammond.
