David Bruce Brown

David Bruce Brown, 48, of New Cumberland, WV, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in Colliers, WV. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Weirton, a son of Betty (Harper) Brown Lemley of New Cumberland and the late George W. Brown. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Neeper, and one brother, Patrick Brown. David was a former truck driver for Mitchell Trucking, but was currently working for the Brooke County Landfill as a truck driver. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Weirton Moose Lodge # 688. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his son, David B. Brown, Jr. of Weirton; one daughter, Mrs. Rick (Angel) Deruelle of Toronto, OH; ex-wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Kinda) Brown of Weirton; three brothers, George “Mike” Brown and his wife Evelyn of New Cumberland, Johnny Brown and his wife Joyce of Weirton, and Richard Brown and his wife Toni of Tiltonsville, OH; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Bailey of Weirton; and two grandchildren, Mandi and Jessi Cormier. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday, June 23, 2002 at the First Christian Church, 3252 Main Street, Weirton. Burial will be in Three Springs Cemetery, Weirton.
