David Byron Mallicone, a hardworking construction worker, died Wednesday November 18, 2020, at the Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was 57 years old. On May 23, 1963, David was born in Weirton, WV, the only son of five children born to Rocco and Marleen Barker Mallicone. David had two older sisters and two younger sisters. David worked as a laborer for his entire working career. He retired from Vince Bruno Construction after his cancer advanced. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. David enjoyed anything with wheels. He pushed the limits but was handy enough to fix anything that he broke due to his driving. But nothing compared to the times he cherished with his sons. He will always be remembered for his work ethic, his tough, intense, and uncompromising attitude, and most of all his kind and loving heart. David was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco Mallicone and Marleen Barker Lorello and her husband Louie Lorello. He will be remembered with love by his two sons, Manuel Mallicone and Nik Martin; his four sisters, Jenny Mallicone, Alesia Rice (Bill), Renee Mallicone, and Nanette DeVeechis; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and countless friends he made along the way. David will be cremated. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Mustang Sally’s 2443 Eldersville Road Follansbee, WV. All are welcome to attend.
