David C. “Peaches” Knight, 64, of Weirton died September 4, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born on April 21, 1941 in Ohio, the son of the late Archie and Eileen Trosch Keith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mitsuko Uni Knight on March 29, 1981; and three brothers, Bill, Archie and Bud Knight.
Peaches was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, where he served from 1957 until 1977. He was a member of the VFW 2716.
He is survived by his sisters, Vera Murray and her husband Robert and Martha Galmer, all of Weirton.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with Military Services Conducted.

I am Bud’s oldest daughter and I loved Uncle Dave and Aunt Ude very much..I will be unable to attend the viewing due to my work schedule but I do want to be at the services if you would be so kind to let me know when they will be, so that I can arrange to be off of work.
