David Mark Wypasek
March 10, 1957 ~ December 15, 2016
David Mark Wypasek, 59, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his home. He was born March 10, 1957 in Weirton, a son of Sophie (Baranowski) Wypasek and the late Edmund Wypasek who died September 21, 2016.
A graduate of Madonna High School, David worked as a crane operator for Weirton Steel. He attended St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and was a huge fan of Harley Davidson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters Brittany Wypasek of Greensboro, NC and Stefanie Wypasek of West Palm Beach, FL; step-son Bryan DeSanto of Weirton; grandson Cayden Watson; and brothers Ron and Mark (Cindy) Wypasek of Weirton and Edmund Wypasek of Columbus, OH.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 until the time of funeral services at 4:30PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.

You dont know me but i worked for weirton steel summer emplyment i used to see him all the time i was on 7 tandem mill I remember him im so sorry for your loss.

Really sorry to hear about Dave. I was out of touch with him after moving away years ago, but remember him well from high school days and after. My condolences to his family.
Mrs. Wypasek and family, I was shocked and so sorry to learn of David’s passing. Dave and I worked closely for several years in the WSX Boiler House and I always found him to be courteous and especially competent. I thought of Dave as a friend as well as a coworker. May your memories of him help to ease this burden.
