Debra Raye Gryskevich
December 29, 1954 ~ September 2, 2015
Gryskevich, Debra Raye, 60, of Weirton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Weirton Medical Center.
Born December 29, 1954 in Weirton, she was a daughter of Betty L. and James E. VanCamp and the late J. David Pratt. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father- in-law Tee and Alex Gryskevich and brother- in -law Greg Hostutler.
Debra worked as a paralegal for Arthur Recht for 13 years. She was also a pianist at Kings Creek Union Chapel for over 20 years. She loved to read, crochet and cook but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a great friend and encourager and was always there to greet you with a smile and a hug. She was the anchor that held the family together.
She is survived by her husband Alexander Gryskevich III, mother Betty L. VanCamp, step-father James E. VanCamp, children Alexander (Kim) Gryskevich IV of Wintersville and Patricia (Daniel) Gryskevich-Hennis of Weirton, grandchildren Alex John Smith, Ashley Webb, Nicolai Gryskevich, Kadin Gryskevich, Ian Douglas Gryskevich, Christine Braham, Donovan Hennis, Billy Keyser , and Crystal Klar, ten great-grandchildren, brother Jay (Pam) Pratt of Charleston, sisters Pattie Hostutler of Nashville, TN and Barb (Todd) Palmer of Paden City, WV as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM.
Minister Tom Derby will officiate.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
